Maintaining excellent foot health is an essential part of living with diabetes, as diabetes can place you at greater risk of developing serious foot complications

Performed by a qualified foot health practitioner, this treatment includes a comprehensive consultation and treatment – a complete overhaul addressing all your concerns.  This is performed on a dry foot, free from nail polish or gels, and finished off using one of our hydrating foot creams, specific to your needs. You are also offered a complimentary foot file, for use at home.

In addition, a diabetic leg assessment is carried out, which includes use of a doppler to listen to your blood flow and a 10g monofilament test to detect any issues that could put the foot at risk of you developing a diabetic foot problem. A copy of the assessment is forward to your GP. A diabetic booklet is also given to you to help you look after your feet between appointments.

If I feel that you are at high risk of developing a foot problem, or out of my scope as a foot health practitioner, I will advise that you are better suited to be treated by a podiatrist.
